Saturday morning July 27TH, bring the kids downtown for the "The Sailpast on Wheels Fun Parade". Check out the World’s Largest Bathtub, Racing Tubs and Sponsor Floats!  Wanna have some Fun?  Enter your own float!

Indemnity Agreement

By clicking Submit you agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend any action against the Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society and the Corporation of the City of Nanaimo from and against all liabilities whatsoever arising out of their participation in the Sail past on Wheels Parade.

Rules

  • No alcohol will be allowed in the line-up area or on the parade route.
  • Nothing is to be thrown from the entry during the parade. Items may be handed to spectators along the parade route Contact person accepts all liability for the people involved with their entry.
  • Width of entries not to exceed 12 feet.
  • Weight not to exceed Licensed Gross Vehicle Weight.
  • Appropriate family entries.

Parade Line-Up

Parade line-up area is on Albert Street from Victoria Crescent to Prideaux Street. Saturday morning from 8:30am Parade Officials will be on the corners of Albert & Selby Street and Albert & Prideaux Street to advise your number in the parade line-up. There will be no access to the parade line-up on Victoria Crescent.


Parade Route

  • The parade will start at Albert Street and Victoria Crescent
  • Turn left onto Victoria Crescent / Commercial Street
  • Vear left on to Front Street using the left lane
  • Follow Front Street as it turns into Comox Street.
  • Parade ends at Maffeo Sutton Park. Participants can pull into the park to unload or if in a vehicle cross Highway 1 to Wallace Street.
