8th ANNUAL LANDTUBBERS RACE!

• Teams of Five participants push/pull/drag one, of two, Rotary Landtub (supplied by Rotary Daybreak) through Malls to select businesses in search of artifacts. Additionally, Teams will also answer several skill testing questions on Nanaimo, the World Championship Bathtub Race and the participating Mall.

• Minimum pledge of $400 per Tub or Entry. Teams can be anyone; combined businesses, sports teams, community groups – your imagination is the limit.

• Pre-event promotion by A-Channel Television, who has given 50 Television Ads of 15 Seconds. (Value $425 each) and with local media.

• Recognition & Prizes: $100 Bonus Draw for those who Pledge, Recognition for Most Knowledgeable, Most Enthusiastic, Most Innovative Artifacts, Most Pledges per Tub and Most Pledge Cards Sold.

• Post-event promotion includes awarding of Prizes, Team Photos, and promotion in Local Media and with Major Sponsor ‘A-Channel’ Television with Bruce Williams.

• Participating Shopping Centres benefit with local media and A-Channel television promotion and resulting increase in traffic during otherwise quiet time of the day. Event Time Weekdays at 2:30 PM: Tues 22 July at North Town Centre, Wed 23 at Woodgrove and Thurs 24 July at Country Club Centre.
